The Bibby & Harold Alfond Dining Commons was designed to become the social heart of the Kents Hill School campus. This 15,000-square-foot facility combines exceptional dining experiences with welcoming gathering spaces that strengthen community and campus life.
The building features a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, a full-view baking center, and a modern scatter-style serving area designed to improve efficiency and enhance the dining experience for students, faculty, and staff. The open-concept dining room includes a striking granite fireplace, wood slat ceilings, meeting rooms, student art gallery, and expansive glass walls that frame panoramic views of Mount Washington and the western mountains of Maine.
More than a dining facility, the Commons serves as a vibrant hub where students and faculty connect, collaborate, and build lasting relationships. The project reflects Warren Construction Group’s commitment to creating thoughtfully designed educational spaces that enrich the campus experience and support institutional goals for generations to come.
