Originally built in 1933, Hanscom Hall serves as the academic heart of Gould Academy’s campus. Warren Construction Group was honored to complete the second phase of its transformation, modernizing 8,500 square feet while preserving the character of this historic building.
Working closely with Gould Academy and the design team, we created a new bookstore, mail room, student center, restrooms, science lab, and the innovative IDEAS Makerspace—a collaborative environment designed to foster creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. The project also included new mechanical and electrical systems throughout the building, two new entrances, and a granite terrace that better connects the facility to the surrounding campus.
Carefully coordinated while school remained in session, this renovation delivered modern learning environments that support Gould Academy’s commitment to innovation while honoring the building’s rich history.
