Taking a rundown building in downtown Biddeford and converting the space into a cocktail bar, restaurant and outdoor dining area was the dream of the two owners of Magnus On Water. They wanted a place to express their entrepreneurial energy and reflect “their ideas on community, culture, family and hospitality” while helping to revitalize downtown Biddeford.

Wood strip laid flooring, is mirrored in a distinctive pattern on the ceiling. The bar features a live edge countertop with a blue river of epoxy running the center again mirrored by the blue tile on the bar. Behind the ritz of the bar and dining area is a small commercial kitchen well-proportioned for the space. Outside, a courtyard with large granite blocks forms the basis of a outside dining area, the greenery providing a contrast.
