Warren Construction Group became involved in this project in early 2022, working closely with Tedford Housing in Brunswick and project stakeholders to review preliminary plans and concept drawings and help shape the project’s vision from the earliest stages. Following contract award, our team played a key role in budgeting, coordination, and value engineering, helping to optimize project outcomes while maintaining cost and schedule objectives.

Through a collaborative partnership with the Tedford Housing, architect, consultants, and broader project team, Warren Construction Group helped navigate the complex local, regional, and federal approval processes required for the development. This proactive and solutions-focused approach ensured the project was delivered on time and within budget.

The completed facility provides safe, supportive housing for up to 10 families in private residential units, each featuring its own kitchen and bathroom. The development also includes a dedicated administration, meeting, and counseling building, along with seven adult group overnight rooms that comprise the adult shelter. Altogether, the facility accommodates up to 74 individuals. This project addresses a critical need for safe, stable housing and support services within the community. By providing both emergency shelter and longer-term housing resources in a single campus environment, the facility creates a pathway toward stability, self-sufficiency, and improved quality of life for vulnerable individuals and families.

Additional site amenities include a large storage building and an outdoor playground, enhancing both the functionality of the campus and the quality of life for residents. By increasing capacity by 60%, the project significantly expands Tedford Housing’s ability to provide critical housing, shelter, and support services to families and individuals in need throughout the community.
