This narrow home is sandwiched between a ledge and the ocean’s edge, making the process a challenge. The end result is stunning. “The homeowner wanted an ocean view from every room in the house,” says Peter, even from the indoor lap pool it is possible to see the water.
Inspired by Scandinavian design, the home is composed of elegant lines and features extraordinary woodwork. Finding the right length and width wood to realize the architect’s design proved to be another welcome challenge, and we got to put our technical skills to use on the curved Douglass fir ceilings in the living room.
